SBC ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF PACKAGED PRODUCTS

Scottsdale Beer Company announced the released of canned beer from it's facility in Scottsdale, AZ. With the help of the Dixie Canning Company out of Athens, GA, SBC designed a canning machine that would meet their specific needs as a small craft brewery. With the ability to can beer in 32oz, 16oz, and 12oz cans, look for SBC's packaged products at the brewpub, as well as throughout Arizona in restaurants and craft beer bars.
SBC WINS BIG AT GREAT AMERICAN BEER FESTIVAL

Scottsdale Beer Company was among an elite group of world-wide breweries to celebrate a medal win at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado. Held annually and sponsored by the Brewer's Association which is also headquartered out of Denver, over 8100 individual beer entries competed over three days for 81 available medals. Scottsdale Beer Company's Cannonball Australian Pale Ale was good enough for a bronze medal placement in the International or Australian Pale Ale category, which entertained over 150 entries. Cannonball Pale Ale is currently available at the Scottsdale Beer Company Taproom and at dozens of restaurants and craft beer bars across Arizona.
SBC ANNOUNCES STATE-WIDE DISTRIBUTION WITH QUAIL DISTRIBUTING

Scottsdale Beer Company announced today it's partnership with Quail Distribution of Phoenix, Arizona, enabling distribution of it's draught and packaged beer product state-wide. The joint press release cited the mutual benefit of the contract, noting that Scottsdale Beer Company has had much success in self-distributing it's products in Maricopa County, but did not have the resources to distribute beyond the county's footprint. Likewise, Quail distribution had been looking to increase the availability of local products in it's portfolio, and the quality and diversity of SBC's beer offerings made the partnership a logical choice. Look for Scottsdale Beer Company brands at over 150 accounts across the state beginning in October of 2017.
SBC INCREASES FERMENTATION CAPACITY WITH ADDITION OF NEW EQUIPMENT

Scottsdale Beer Company announced today that it's fermentation capacity has increased by 40% with the addition of a new 20BBL fermenter, manufactured by Diversified Metal Engineering Company out of Prince Edward Island, Canada. The addition of the increased capacity will allow SBC to use it's existing smaller fermenters to expand their sour beer and lager programs at the brewpub. The increased capacity will also allow SBC to continue to grow its distribution presence, which at the time of publishing represented about 15% of annual production. Head brewer Brad Williams stated "We currently support about 45 outside accounts that consistently serve SBC beer at their respective establishments, including some large corporate accounts like Talking Stick Resort and JW Marriott Desert Ridge. This increase in capacity will allow us focus on getting our products into a more diverse and geographically expanded footprint." SBC will begin brewing with the new equipment during the second week of June. "Look for even more SBC beer on the streets soon" Williams commented.
SBC AND THE CORTNEY'S PLACE FOUNDATION TEAM UP FOR CHEERS TO TEN YEARS

Scottsdale Beer company was proud to host the Cheers To Ten Years ten year anniversary celebration and fundraiser for the Cortney's Place Foundation, a local non-profit organization that provides care and life enrichment activities for specials needs adults and children in the city of Scottsdale. Over 25 local businesses and 20 volunteers gave their time and resources to host the event, which raised over $28,000 for the foundation in less than four hours. The celebration included a silent auction, prize raffles, a beer stein holding contest, and a 50/50 raffle, hosted by cheerleaders from the Phoenix Suns professional basketball team. All of the proceeds generated went directly to the Cortney's Place Foundation, located at 7000 East Shea Boulevard #1430 in Scottsdale, AZ. FIRST ANNUAL BARBELLS AND BREWS WITH SBC AND LIFETIME FITNESS

Scottsdale Beer Company and Lifetime Fitness have teamed up to host the first annual Barbells and Brews event, held at the Lifetime Fitness Alpha Training Facility on Shea and the 101 in Scottsdale, AZ. Over 30 athletes competed in the inaugural event, which included four phases of challenging competitions based on the Alpha training program. Alpha coaches Lucy Charrasse, Danny Nichols, and Gisele Wyne, and Doug Ledger of SBC collaborated to organize the event, which culminated in a post-workout celebration hosted by Scottsdale Beer Company. Prizes included cash, gift cards from sponsors, and the right to defend the championship title at the next Barbells and Brews event, slated to be held in July of 2017.
