SBC INCREASES FERMENTATION CAPACITY WITH ADDITION OF NEW EQUIPMENT

Scottsdale Beer Company announced today that it's fermentation capacity has increased by 40% with the addition of a new 20BBL fermenter, manufactured by Diversified Metal Engineering Company out of Prince Edward Island, Canada. The addition of the increased capacity will allow SBC to use it's existing smaller fermenters to expand their sour beer and lager programs at the brewpub. The increased capacity will also allow SBC to continue to grow its distribution presence, which at the time of publishing represented about 15% of annual production. Head brewer Brad Williams stated "We currently support about 45 outside accounts that consistently serve SBC beer at their respective establishments, including some large corporate accounts like Talking Stick Resort and JW Marriott Desert Ridge. This increase in capacity will allow us focus on getting our products into a more diverse and geographically expanded footprint." SBC will begin brewing with the new equipment during the second week of June. "Look for even more SBC beer on the streets soon" Williams commented.
