Scottsdale Beer Company Joins the Beverage Business Institute at Colorado State University
Scottsdale Beer Company is among a handful of industry leaders that have joined forces with the Beverage Business Institute at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. A segment of the CSU College of Business, the BBI is bringing together top industry professional from multiple market segments, including brewers, wholesalers, and bottlers, with the aim of developing one of the top fermentation sciences programs in the nation. Participants include industry giants like New Belgium Brewing, Odell Brewing Company, Coca-Cola, and American Eagle Distributors, while including small and traditional operations like Black Raven Brewing, Equinox Brewing, and Scottsdale Beer Company. Keynote speakers have included Ed Goodman, a veteran Disney imagineer and founder of Spiral Experiences, Benj Steinman, publisher and editor of Beer Marketer's Insights, and Anda Lincoln, Arizona State University Law School graduate and cofounder of Funkwerks Brewing in Fort Collins, CO.
For a smaller operation like Scottsdale Beer Company, the opportunity to network and learn from industry veterans like Doug and Wynne Odell and Kim Jordan of New Belgium is invaluable. Our goal is to take the lessons we've gained through our continued experience with the BBI and bring the benefits of those experiences to those who visit our brewpub in Scottsdale, Arizona.
