Scottsdale Beer Company and Fate Brewing announce Collaboration Release
Scottsdale Beer Company and Fate Brewing, neighbors in the Scottsdale, AZ brewing scene, are proud to announce the release of The Shea Connection Blonde Session Rye Wine. Brewer's Brad Williams and Adam Schmeichel smashed their collective heads together to create this awesomely big beer, ages for eight weeks on new oak spirals. The result is 9.4% ABV, 50 IBU "session" rye wine, with an unanticipated depth of flavor and beautiful prevention of mild oak flavors. The collaboration process is indicative of the fraternal spirit that makes the brewing industry so unique. "Working with Adam was killer" said SBC Head Brewer Brad Williams. "Most would consider two competing businesses in such close proximity as adversaries, but we're truly not. We're working hard together to grow the presence of craft beer in the city of Scottsdale and beyond. We share equipment, confer on techniques and recipes, and have a friendly sense of competition." Get your dose of The Shea Connection at Scottsdale Beer Company, or at Fate Brewing in Scottsdale, before it's gone forever. Cheers!
