Scottsdale Beer Company Wins Big at 2016 Strong Beer Festival
Congratulations to Brad Williams and the team at Scottsdale Beer Company for winning TWO medals at the 2016 Strong Beer Festival. The Chili Vanilli Texas Tea Imperial Stout and the Quadzilla Belgian Strong Dark took bronze at this year's competition, in a blind taste test hosted and judged by The Arizona Society of Homebrewers. Thanks to everyone who joined as for at the festival, and thanks to all the judges for recognizing our dedication to our craft. Cheers!

Without resorting to hyperbole that in retrospect would make me seem like an infatuated Metal band groupie, SBC has the best variety of style, depth and breadth of quality, and commitment to product excellence of any microbrew in the country.
Austin, Portland, and Denver locales beware: Brewmaster Brad Williams is as much the mad scientist with his creations as he portrays in his appearance. His motivations are clear from the end result: to produce shining, creative examples of staple brews which don't get lost in ambitions and singularity which would detract from their original intent, which is simply to burst with intended flavor on the front and back of the toungue.
And to even try to wax positive about the food might seem like a feeble attempt at praising yet another bra for having "Eow, like, such amazing food man, unreal!" The food is withput peer in the gastropub/microbrew space at least in the PHX area.
I'm grateful to have a standard set so high without the pretension or overwrought atmosphere that normally accompanies such excellence. Please forgive the hypocrisy of my first sentence.
